Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Sohail Afridi Meets Mahmood Khan Achakzai to Discuss Provincial Rights and National Issues

Islamabad: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Sohail Afridi, held a meeting today Tuesday at the residence of Mahmood Khan Achakzai, where they engaged in a detailed discussion on national and political affairs, the 27th Constitutional Amendment, and its potential implications on provincial autonomy.
During the meeting, CM Afridi highlighted that the additional NFC Award share for the merged districts has not yet been provided. He cautioned that any tampering with the NFC Award could be detrimental to national unity.
The discussions also covered security and peace initiatives in the Kurram Division and the Peshawar Peace Jirga. Mahmood Khan Achakzai assured full support for the protection of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s constitutional and financial rights.
The meeting was attended by Senator Allama Nasir Abbas (nominated opposition leader in the Senate), PTI provincial president Junaid Akbar, and MNAs Atif Khan and Ali Asghar Khan. Additionally, Akhunzada Hussain Ahmed Yousafzai, PTI founding lawyer Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, and Irfan Saleem were also present.
