QUETTA, Nov 4, 2025 — The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted the arrival of a fresh cold wave across northern and northwestern Balochistan as a low-pressure western disturbance enters the province tonight.
Under its influence, temperatures are expected to drop significantly in Quetta, Kalat, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Zhob, Mastung, Khuzdar, Nushki, Chagai, Washuk, Loralai, and Panjgur, accompanied by strong winds that will intensify the cold.
The PMD has also warned of possible dust and sandstorms in Chagai, Kharan, Washuk, and Panjgur, which may reduce visibility.
On Tuesday, the northern and western districts are likely to remain cold and dry, while the eastern and southern regions are expected to experience generally dry weather. No rainfall was recorded in the province during the past 24 hours.
