SSP Thatta Directs Police to Accelerate Action Against Criminals and Ensure Merit-Based Investigations

THATTA, Nov 3, 2025 — Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Thatta, Farooq Ahmed Bijarani, chaired an important meeting at the SSP Office with all SDPOs, SHOs, branch heads, and in-charges of police posts to review the district’s law and order situation and pending investigations.
During the session, SSP Bijarani instructed officers to ensure the arrest of suspects involved in murder, robbery, motorcycle theft, and snatching cases in accordance with the directives issued by IGP Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon and DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razzaq Dharejo.
He emphasized the immediate tracing of A-class cases, recovery of stolen property, and arrest of absconding and proclaimed offenders, particularly in murder and other heinous crime cases.
The SSP further directed officers to expedite legal proceedings, complete investigations on merit, and submit final reports to courts within stipulated timeframes. He also ordered SHOs to personally investigate murder cases and conduct identification parades of arrested suspects.
Bijarani highlighted the need for improved efficiency in police record management through the PSRMS software and directed that all police stations maintain cleanliness on designated maintenance days.
He also stressed strict snap-checking at all entry and exit points, regular patrols, and the deployment of educated police personnel in mobile units. SSP Bijarani warned that any police officer or official found involved in drug trafficking would face strict departmental action.
