Hostile elements dreaming of destabilizing State:CM calls upon youth to promote State’s true narrative and foster positive mindset

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has said that certain hostile elements are dreaming of destabilizing the state through acts of violence. In such circumstances, he called upon the youth to promote the state’s true narrative and foster positive mindset.

The Chief Minister also urged the youth to counter the violent behaviour and negative propaganda with arguments and facts.

He said that Balochistan’s biggest problem is not insurgency, but corruption and adding he emphasized that the elimination of corruption would usher in era of real development and prosperity.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti was speaking to a delegation of National Youth Council (NYC), who called on him here at the CM’s secretariat on Wednesday.

Also present in the meeting were the Chairman Prime Minister Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, youth delegates, focal persons and high ups of the Youth Affairs Department.

He said that practical measures are underway in Balochistan to promote meritocracy so that the youth can have better opportunities according to their abilities. He added that it is extremely important for the youth to understand the difference between perception and reality regarding Balochistan, and that every young person is a valuable asset for the state. The government is taking all possible steps to guide them in the right direction.

The Chief Minister stated, “We are always ready to respond to every difficult question from the youth with arguments and the light of truth.”

On this occasion, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the current provincial government is listening to the youth at every level. He added, “This is the first government in which the direction has truly changed for the welfare of the youth.”

Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan praised the performance of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, saying, “I have visited Quetta six times, but this time I felt the winds of change, which are a symbol of the youth’s confidence. The inclusion and engagement of the youth under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Balochistan is commendable, and these initiatives guarantee a bright future for Balochistan.”

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also distributed laptops among the members of the National Youth Council.
