China’s Skywell, Pakistan’s Warm Waters Group Sign Landmark MoU to Boost Electric Vehicle Manufacturing

Lahore, Nov 6: In a major step toward sustainable mobility, Skywell Automobile, a leading Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, and Warm Waters Advisory Group Pakistan have signed a landmark memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance EV manufacturing and infrastructure in Pakistan. The Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) facilitated the agreement, which promises large-scale investment in green technology and clean transportation.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Huang, Head of International Business at Skywell Automobile, and Adeel Malik, General Partner and CEO of Warm Waters Advisory Group. Under the partnership, PBIT will provide full facilitation to Skywell as it establishes its investment footprint in Punjab, Gwadar Pro reported.

During the signing ceremony, Muhammad Muntaha Ashraf, Chairman of PBIT, reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) and innovative, eco-friendly technologies.

> “This partnership marks another milestone in transforming Punjab into a regional hub for electric vehicle production and green industrial growth,” said Mr. Ashraf, emphasizing that sustainable industrialization will help reduce carbon emissions and create thousands of green jobs.

 

Skywell Automobile, one of China’s top new energy vehicle (NEV) producers, has rapidly expanded across Asia and the Middle East. Its collaboration with Warm Waters Advisory Group represents Skywell’s first major investment initiative in Pakistan.

Based in Lahore, Warm Waters Advisory Group will act as Skywell’s local partner, ensuring smooth regulatory compliance, infrastructure development, and integration into Pakistan’s growing EV market.
