GWADAR: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Major General Habib Nawaz, along with Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Hamood-ur-Rehman, formally inaugurated the public park in Sangar Phase-I, here on Thursday.
The park is expected to become a beautiful new recreational spot for both residents and tourists.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Director General GDA Moeen-ur-Rehman, SSP Gwadar Zia-ul-Haq Mandokhail, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Dr. Abdul Shakoor, Assistant Commissioner Gwadar Saad Kaleem Zafar, Chief Engineer GDA Syed Muhammad, In-charge of Sangar Housing Scheme Project Nazir Ahmed Baloch, and other civil and military officers.
During the ceremony, Major General Habib Nawaz and Deputy Commissioner Hamood-ur-Rehman inspected various sections of the park and appreciated the arrangements.
After the inauguration, guests enjoyed a refreshment session accompanied by Balochi music, which added color and cultural vibrancy to the event.
The newly constructed modern park in Sangar Phase-I will not only provide recreational facilities for the residents of Gwadar but will also serve as an attractive destination for tourists, reflecting the beauty and ongoing development of the city.
