Engineer Amir Muqam’s Message on Iqbal Day — Calls for Reviving Iqbal’s Vision Through Unity, Faith, and Discipline

Federal Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, in his message on the occasion of Iqbal Day, paid rich tribute to Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, calling him “a visionary leader who rekindled the flame of freedom in the hearts of Muslims under the shadow of colonial darkness.”
He said that Iqbal’s philosophy of Khudi (selfhood) continues to inspire generations with faith, action, and hope, serving as a timeless guide for nation-building.
Engineer Amir Muqam emphasized that in the current era, it is imperative to reconnect with Iqbal’s message of self-reliance and national reconstruction with renewed commitment. “Under the leadership of Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan is steadily transforming Iqbal’s dream into a living reality of progress and stability,” he stated.
Highlighting the role of youth, he said they are the true inheritors of Iqbal’s vision, and it is through knowledge, character, and hard work that they can strengthen Pakistan’s future.
“Iqbal’s message transcends time and remains a powerful reminder for us to uphold the principles of unity, faith, and discipline,” he said, urging the nation to embrace the teachings of the Poet of the East to make Pakistan a cradle of peace, prosperity, and progress.
