PESHAWAR, Nov 9:
The Pakhtunkhwa Aman Jirga is scheduled to take place on November 12, gathering key stakeholders to deliberate on strategies aimed at restoring and sustaining peace and social harmony across the province.
In a press statement, Provincial Minister for Local Government Mina Khan Afridi said that peace and stability remain the top priorities of the provincial government, as no development, prosperity, or public welfare can be achieved without a peaceful environment.
He said that the Peace Jirga will bring together religious scholars, political leaders, tribal elders, civil society representatives, and senior government officials to discuss practical measures for strengthening peace through dialogue, reconciliation, and collective wisdom.

> “The Aman Jirga will serve as a bridge for dialogue and trust-building, paving the way for unity and social cohesion across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,”
said Afridi.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to peace and cooperation, the minister noted that the provincial leadership under Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi is determined to promote inclusivity, harmony, and joint problem-solving as core principles of governance.
He urged the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to foster a culture of tolerance, respect, and peace, stressing that collective efforts are essential to transform the province into a secure, stable, and prosperous region.
