IGP Islamabad Orders Re-Investigation of Major Cases; Reaffirms Open-Door Policy for Police Welfare

ISLAMABAD, Nov 9:
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has directed senior police officers to complete re-investigations into serious cases on priority basis. The directive was issued during an orderly room session held at the Central Police Office, Islamabad.

During the session, police personnel from all divisions presented both personal and official matters directly to the IGP. Rizvi emphasized the importance of resolving these concerns promptly and justly.

The IGP also highlighted various welfare initiatives launched for Islamabad Police, including projects aimed at improving residential facilities, expanding healthcare services, and enhancing educational standards for officers and their families.

He assured all officers that his office operates under an open-door policy, encouraging them to share their grievances freely for immediate redressal.

Rizvi further remarked that the purpose of the orderly room was not only to address operational and welfare issues but also to boost morale among officers through timely and fair resolution of their matters.
