Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Chief Minister of Balochistan, has revealed a remarkable improvement in the province’s immunization coverage, marking a major breakthrough in the public health sector after five years of stagnation.

According to the Chief Minister, the full immunization rate has increased from 38 percent to 47 percent within a single year, reflecting the success of the government’s focused reforms and targeted initiatives in child healthcare.

“This progress is a direct result of our transparent policies and improved governance that have strengthened public trust and enhanced service delivery,” Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated.

He added that the findings were confirmed through Third-Party Verification of Immunization Coverage and a report prepared by Aga Khan University, which verified that the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) has already achieved 70 percent of its set target.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that this milestone demonstrates Balochistan’s commitment to ensuring a healthier and safer future for its people. “The improvement in immunization coverage is a sign of hope and progress for every child in the province,” he affirmed.
