KHUZDAR, November 10:
Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar convened a grand jirga of tribal elders, religious scholars, and representatives of civil society to deliberate on regional peace, education, and development matters. The meeting emphasized collective responsibility for maintaining law and order and ensuring the success of government reforms at the grassroots level.
Addressing the jirga, the DC said that public cooperation is essential for sustainable governance. He assured participants that administrative transparency and citizen engagement remain top priorities. Elders lauded the DC’s initiative to involve communities directly in policymaking.
The jirga resolved to cooperate with the district administration against smuggling, land encroachments, and environmental degradation. Participants pledged to work together for the educational advancement of youth and protection of public property.
