Across Balochistan, Iqbal Day was observed with patriotic fervor to pay tribute to Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, the Poet of the East, whose vision laid the intellectual foundation of Pakistan. Educational institutions, government offices, and literary circles held special events highlighting Iqbal’s message of self-reliance, unity, and faith.
In Quetta, a central ceremony organized by the Information Department featured speeches, poetry recitals, and essay presentations. Speakers including DGPR Muhammad Noor Khetran and senior educationists said that Iqbal’s concept of Khudi and Shaheen remains vital for the moral and intellectual revival of the nation.
Students presented Iqbal’s verses and tableaux depicting his philosophical ideals. The DGPR emphasized that youth must rediscover Iqbal’s message to strengthen national pride and contribute positively to Pakistan’s progress. “Iqbal’s ideology transcends time and continues to inspire generations toward collective excellence,” he said
