Muzaffarabad: Mushtaq Ahmed Butt Addresses Students Wing of Tehreek-e-Shabab-ul-Muslimeen in Key Motivational Speech

Muzaffarabad: Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Secretary Information of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), attended the Students Wing Shura meeting of Tehreek-e-Shabab-ul-Muslimeen and delivered a highly important and sensitive address to young activists.
Mushtaq Ahmed Butt appreciated the Students Wing leaders and workers for successfully organizing a well-coordinated and impactful program in Muzaffarabad on 27th October during APHC protests and on 6th November on the occasion of Martyrs of Jammu Day.
He emphasized that the All Parties Hurriyat Conference now more than ever relies on the strong support and active involvement of youth. Mushtaq Butt warned that Jammu and Kashmir stands at a critical juncture in history, facing severe threats to its national identity, religious character, cultural heritage, and collective existence.
He cautioned:
“Our identity in Kashmir is under attack.”
“The Kashmiri Muslim is in danger.”
“Our faith, our land, and our existence are under a multi-dimensional assault.”
Mushtaq Ahmed Butt urged youth that this is a time for awareness and vigilance; there is no room for indifference or silence. He drew parallels between India’s current policies in Kashmir and the historical fall of Andalusia (Granada), highlighting how silence and division destroyed an entire civilization.
He added:
“If we remain negligent, silent, and divided today, neither history, nor the innocent and oppressed people of occupied Kashmir, nor the Almighty Allah will accept any excuse from us.”
Mushtaq Butt called on young activists to:
Engage with the public
Visit homes repeatedly
Raise awareness among people
Stand united, organized, and determined against this great injustice
He emphasized that Kashmir today requires unified action, intellectual resilience, and practical struggle.
Addressing the youth, he said:
“You are the future of this nation. You are the force that can pierce this darkness. You are the honor upon which the state has placed its hopes.”
In conclusion, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt reaffirmed that the Hurriyat Conference stands shoulder to shoulder with youth, supporting every effort to safeguard Kashmir’s identity, freedom, and dignity. During the meeting, the Students Wing leaders assured him that they would play a frontline role in the struggle for Kashmir’s freedom.
