A high-level review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti focused on administrative and technical aspects of integrating the Levies Force into the police. The meeting included Chief Secretary Shakil Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Hamza Shafqat, IG Police Muhammad Tahir Khan, and DG Levies Abdul Ghaffar Magsi.
Discussions centered on challenges faced by Levies personnel during integration. The CM instructed that promotion, transfer, and seniority matters be finalized promptly to ensure an effective, respectful transition. Training modules will be introduced to enhance capacity, and basic police training will be provided to Levies officers and personnel. Mir Sarfaraz Bugti stressed that a unified force will strengthen law enforcement, improve coordination, and contribute to maintaining law and order across Balochistan.
