PPP Chairman Meets KP Governor to Discuss Political Stability and Security Situation

Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a key meeting with PPP Women’s Wing Central President Faryal Talpur and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, at Zardari House, Islamabad. PPP Central Punjab President Raja Pervez Ashraf was also present during the discussion.

The meeting focused on the current political and administrative situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including ongoing efforts to maintain peace and security in the province. Governor Kundi briefed the PPP Chairman on the recent peace jirga and the consensus decisions taken by political leadership during the deliberations.

The participants welcomed the full participation of political leadership in the peace jirga and endorsed the joint roadmap for future political and security measures. Discussions also highlighted the importance of intelligence-based operations by security forces for establishing sustainable peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting emphasized continued cooperation between political leadership and security agencies to ensure a stable and peaceful environment in the province, reinforcing the commitment to dialogue and consensus-building as the preferred approach to political and security challenges.
