Measles, Rubella and Polio Campaign Reviewed in Chaman; DC Urges Parents to Ensure Vaccination

CHAMAN, Nov 20:

Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai, chaired an evening review meeting on the ongoing measles, rubella and polio vaccination campaign, being conducted from 17 to 29 November.

The meeting was attended by ADC Fida Baloch, DHO Dr. Naveed Badini, MS DHQ Hospital Dr. Owais, officers of the Health Department, and representatives of WHO and UNICEF.

Health officials briefed that vaccination teams are conducting door-to-door visits to prevent the spread of these infectious diseases. The DC stressed that the campaign is crucial for children’s health and directed teams to perform duties with professionalism, dedication and integrity.

Through media, he appealed to parents to ensure that their children receive mandatory vaccinations so the region can be protected from preventable diseases.
