Pakistan Selected to Host Prestigious ASOCIO Digital Summit 2026

Karachi: Pakistan has been officially chosen to host the ASOCIO Digital Summit 2026, a landmark recognition of the country’s growing digital capabilities and leadership in the Asia-Oceania technology ecosystem. The announcement was made during the ongoing ASOCIO Digital Summit 2025 in Chinese Taipei.

The decision reflects ASOCIO’s confidence in Pakistan’s ability to convene global and regional digital leaders, strengthen collaboration among member economies, and shape the region’s digital transformation agenda.

Mr. Sajjad Mustafa Syed, Chairman of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), said:
“Being selected to host the ASOCIO Digital Summit 2026 is a tremendous honor for Pakistan and a validation of our industry’s global credibility. Pakistan is ready to welcome the region’s tech leadership and showcase our dynamic digital ecosystem to the world.”

He added, “Our industry is transforming rapidly, and ASOCIO’s trust reinforces Pakistan’s rising stature as a regional digital powerhouse.”

Pakistan Shines at ASOCIO Digital Summit 2025

Alongside hosting rights, Pakistan achieved another milestone: 7 Pakistani companies won ASOCIO ICT Awards 2025, highlighting the country’s expertise in AI, digital services, enterprise solutions, and emerging technologies. A contingent of 15 Pakistani IT firms actively participated in the summit, representing the nation in key award categories and high-level dialogues.

P@SHA leadership engaged with ASOCIO Chairman Mr. Stan Singh and delegations from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and other member economies, discussing digital policy alignment, talent development, and cross-border digital trade opportunities. P@SHA also explored collaborations with the Council of Indigenous Software Associations (CISA) and other Asia-Pacific industry bodies to promote joint ventures, BPO partnerships, and tech-talent mobility programs.
