Balochistan CM Orders Probe into Alleged Irregularities in Youth Skills Development Program

Quetta: Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti of Balochistan has taken strict notice of alleged irregularities and complaints regarding the Chief Minister Youth Skills Development & Overseas Employment Program, ordering an immediate and impartial inquiry to ensure accountability and transparency.

According to official statements, the Chief Minister expressed serious concern over negative reports related to the program, emphasizing that any mismanagement or lack of transparency in initiatives aimed at youth development will not be tolerated.

The matter has been entrusted to the Chief Minister Inspection Team (CMIT), with instructions to submit a detailed report within two weeks. The report is to include a thorough review of program implementation, beneficiary selection processes, and overall effectiveness. It will also provide recommendations for strengthening accountability mechanisms and reforms to prevent similar issues in the future. The findings will be presented directly to the Chief Minister for further administrative and legal action.

Mir Sarfaraz Bugti reiterated that the provincial government prioritizes youth development, skill enhancement, and overseas employment opportunities, stating that public resources must be utilized in a transparent and equitable manner. He emphasized that the program’s objective is to provide fair, effective, and meaningful opportunities for the province’s youth to advance in professional skills and employment.

The Chief Minister’s directive reflects a proactive governance approach, focusing on monitoring and accountability in social welfare initiatives. Officials said the inquiry would assess all operational and administrative aspects, aiming to enhance program effectiveness and ensure that it meets its developmental goals.

The CMIT is expected to submit a comprehensive report covering factual findings, corrective measures, and recommendations for reform within the stipulated timeframe. The government’s approach signals a commitment to transparent governance and the professional empowerment of youth, key priorities of the current administration in Balochistan.
