Sibi, November 24, 2025:

Under the directives of Secretary Forests and Wildlife, Abdul Fattah Bhangar, the Chinkara Breeding Farm in Lehri, Sibi, has demonstrated significant progress in wildlife management, animal care, and breeding of the rare Chinkara deer.

The farm’s success is credited to Chief Conservator Wildlife Sharifuddin Baloch, Assistant Conservator Rafiq Khajjak, DFO Tariq Shah, and their team, who have ensured consistent monitoring, feeding, health checks, and maintenance of enclosures despite severe drought conditions.

The Chinkara population at the farm has now surpassed forty (40+), reflecting the department’s commitment to species conservation. Community awareness campaigns are also being conducted to highlight the importance of wildlife protection and ecological balance.
