ISLAMABAD, November 25, 2025 — Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Professor Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan’s youth must look toward 2047 and become the driving force behind national progress while addressing the Uraan Pakistan Debate 2025. He said the platform aims to cultivate new intellectual leadership and called young Pakistanis the nation’s true asset with limitless potential. Iqbal said successful nations achieved growth through stability, continuity of policy, peace, and sustained reforms, adding that Pakistan is preparing its youth with knowledge, creativity, and technology-oriented skills. He said Pakistan has seen record growth in the stock market, IT sector, exports, and remittances and is ready for what he termed the “fourth national takeoff.” The minister urged youth to reject division and negativity, become ambassadors of unity, and contribute to rebuilding the country rather than seeking to leave it, saying hard work can turn dreams into reality.
