Pakistani MUN Delegates Briefed at Embassy in Paris

PARIS — A group of Pakistani delegates participating in the Model United Nations (MUN) International conference in Paris visited the Embassy on Tuesday for an interactive briefing session. Officials briefed the students on Pakistan’s priorities within international organizations, particularly those headquartered in Paris.

Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch addressed the delegation and highlighted Pakistan’s firm commitment to multilateralism, adherence to international law, and the peaceful resolution of disputes. She also outlined Pakistan’s active diplomatic engagement at UNESCO, noting the country’s role as Vice-Chair of the Executive Board from 2023 to 2025 and its efforts to promote the interests and development priorities of the Global South.

The delegates expressed appreciation for the insights shared and the opportunity to better understand Pakistan’s diplomatic positions in multilateral forums.
