Gilgit Development Authority Accelerates Sanitary Sewer Project; Quality and Planning Emphasized

Gilgit: Under the leadership of Director General Gilgit Development Authority (GDA) Izhar Ullah, a high-level review meeting was held for the city’s sanitary sewer system. Participants included Director Engineering Arif Hussain, Project Director Shafqat Ali, and relevant contractors.

DG GDA instructed that base and sub-base works be immediately completed on all roads where sewerage work has concluded to allow timely surfacing at the start of the season. He further directed increased on-site resource deployment, enhanced supervision to ensure quality, and stakeholder consultation prior to main road work to ensure proper planning and execution.
