Independent Report
Gwadar, November 27, 2025: Following directives from Assistant Commissioner Saad Kaleem Zafar, the Price Control Committee conducted a detailed inspection of city markets and commercial areas. The inspection team was led by Shakeel Dawood.
During the survey, authorities checked for overpricing, availability of government-approved price lists, compliance with SOPs, expired consumables, as well as quality of fruits, vegetables, meat, and other daily-use items. A significant number of banned polythene bags were also confiscated. The team emphasized that the use of these plastic bags is illegal and environmentally hazardous.
Traders were warned that strict action would continue against the use of prohibited bags, and preventive measures for public welfare would remain enforced in the future.
