The Technical Advisory Group (TAG) convened its second meeting to review the first draft report on the disability assessment and referral pathways mechanism for government-based Gender-Based Violence (GBV) services.
The session brought together technical experts, government representatives and sector partners to examine proposed assessment tools, referral procedures and service-delivery standards aimed at improving accessibility for persons with disabilities. Members provided detailed feedback to strengthen clarity, operational feasibility and alignment with national protection frameworks.
The draft will undergo revisions based on TAG recommendations before moving to the validation stage. Officials noted that the framework is expected to enhance survivor-centred GBV services and ensure timely, coordinated support for individuals with disabilities across relevant departments.
