Uthal: Jam Muhammad Kamal Football Club Uthal Wins the Title of the First All (Two) District Hub–Lasbela Nawab Jam Kamal Khan Alyani Football Tournament
Uthal (Report by Aziz Yousafzai) — The first All (Two) District Hub–Lasbela Nawab Jam Kamal Khan Alyani Football Tournament concluded with a colourful and grand ceremony at Jam Muhammad Yousaf Football Stadium Uthal, where a record crowd of spectators witnessed the thrilling final.
In the decisive match, Jam Muhammad Kamal Football Club Uthal faced Jaye Baloch Football Club Bela. Bela scored the opening goal, but Uthal made a remarkable comeback to level the match. The score remained 1–1 in regular and extra time, leading to a penalty shoot-out in which Jam Muhammad Kamal Football Club Uthal displayed confidence and precision to clinch the championship title. The stadium echoed with applause, chants, and celebrations from enthusiastic fans.
The chief guest for the event was prominent tribal elder and businessman Haji Kareem Bakhsh Elyasani, accompanied by Dam Sonmiani businessmen Jameel Ahmed Qureshi and Habibullah Meerbahar. Upon arrival, the guests were warmly received with flower petals. Tournament organiser Captain Nazeer Shahook presented traditional ajrak, while senior footballer Jan Muhammad Qamar offered flower garlands.
Addressing the ceremony, the chief guest said the final proved that the youth of Lasbela and Uthal possess immense sporting talent. He added that such tournaments promote healthy activities, discipline, teamwork, and patience among young players. He congratulated the winning team and appreciated the excellent performance of Bela’s side, noting that the true success was the outstanding display of sportsmanship by both teams.
Later, the chief guest presented trophies to the winning and runner-up captains and awarded medals to all players. Other distinguished guests also distributed prizes among players, officials, and committee members. The tournament committee also presented traditional ajraks to all guests and journalists.
