Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan — The Balochistan National Party (BNP) has strongly condemned the brutal daylight killing of laborious trader Amanullah Mengal in Dera Murad Jamali, describing the incident as a glaring failure of law enforcement agencies and provincial governance.
In a statement issued by central and senior party leaders, including Central Executive Committee member Mir Abdul Ghafoor Mengal, District Organizer Mir Khuda Bakhsh Bangulzai, Deputy Organizer Mir Abdul Baqi Mengal, senior leader Dr. Shahnawaz Mengal, former President Mohammad Ismail Mengal, Dr. Syed Mukhtar Shah, Dr. Ali Dost Umrani, and Comrade Kareem Baloch, the party highlighted that the shooting immediately outside a bank not only exposed institutional lapses but also intensified a sense of insecurity among the populace.
The BNP statement called the incident a clear indication of negligence, incompetence, and poor governance by the provincial administration, police, and government. It further stressed that such attacks spread fear among citizens and undermine public confidence in law and order.
The party demanded the swift arrest and exemplary punishment of those responsible for Amanullah Mengal’s killing and urged authorities to implement effective measures to restore security and protect civilians in the province.
