Karachi: Senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) and National Assembly member Dr. Farooq Sattar emphasized the significance of persons with disabilities on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Dr. Sattar stated that individuals with physical challenges are not disabled but possess innate abilities, making them vital contributors to any civilized society. He stressed that it is the responsibility of those in power to ensure access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities for them, enabling their inclusion with dignity in society.
He further highlighted that national progress requires fully integrating persons with special abilities across all sectors.
