Hub (Special Correspondent) – Hub city is set to witness its largest-ever investment, following efforts by Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri. German company AOCH GmbH will invest $50 million in the coastal area of Gadani, creating significant employment opportunities for the local community.
According to sources, AOCH GmbH representatives, including Kemling Skuba and Sebastian George, visited Hub city’s coastal sites. The delegation was hosted by Provincial Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri and Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri. During the visit, the German team assessed multiple locations in Gadani and confirmed the area’s suitability for investment. A detailed briefing on the projects was provided at Zehri Farmhouse Hub.
The delegation also visited Gadani Shipbreaking Yard, Gadani Rest House, Plot No. 71, Kund Gadani, and Khoj Resort. Local officials, including Mir Wahab Bizenjo, Deputy Commissioner Hub Ismail Ibrahim Baloch, SSP Hub Fazil Bukhari, PD Gadani Shipbreaking Yard Saeed Umrani, and Chairman Gadani Municipal Committee Jan Sher Baloch, participated in the visit. The German team was warmly welcomed with traditional garlands and cultural gifts.
The investment projects are designed to be sustainable and environmentally friendly, including an initiative to clean oil spills in the sea, protecting marine life. Other major projects include an oil refinery and related industrial developments in Gadani.
Provincial Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri assured investors that Hub is a peaceful and business-friendly city. He emphasized that the government is committed to providing a conducive environment for investors while addressing local unemployment. Zehri extended a warm welcome to the delegation and hosted a formal luncheon in their honor.
