LAHORE, December 3 — The Punjab government has moved forward with the Chief Minister’s prison reforms agenda as the Home Department issued major transfer and posting orders across the provincial prisons under the rotation policy.
According to the official notification issued by the Home Department:
Muhammad Azhar Javed has been appointed Superintendent, Central Jail Gujranwala.
Asghar Ali has been posted as Superintendent, Central Jail Multan.
Arshad Ali Warraich has been appointed Superintendent, District Jail Kasur.
Additionally:
Shahbaz Akhtar has been posted as Deputy Superintendent Judicial, District Jail Sialkot.
Shehzad Hussain Bukhari has been appointed Deputy Superintendent Development, District Jail Mandi Bahauddin.
The Home Department issued these orders on the instructions of the Secretary Home, and all postings and transfers have been enforced with immediate effect.
