KARACHI, December 4, 2025 — Spotify has launched its highly anticipated 2025 Wrapped, revealing Pakistan’s most-streamed artists, songs, and albums — with Talha Anjum once again securing the title of Top Pakistani Artist for the second year in a row. The platform reports a remarkable 70% surge in local music consumption, signaling a powerful rise in homegrown talent.
Icons, Breakouts, and a Nation on Replay
Umair and Hasan Raheem join Anjum among the top three, while legendary names like Atif Aslam and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan continue to dominate listener loyalty. Pakistan’s evolving music landscape also saw strong performances from emerging favourites including Maanu, Bayaan, Afusic, AliSoomroMusic, and Annural Khalid.
Top Pakistani Songs Reflect a New Wave
“Jhol” by Maanu and Annural Khalid maintained its position as the country’s top song. Close behind were “Pal Pal” by Afusic and AliSoomroMusic, and “Maand,” a collaboration between Bayaan, Hasan Raheem, and Rovalio. Talha Anjum and Umair’s “Departure Lane,” along with “Wishes” by Hasan Raheem, Umair, and Talwiinder, rounded out the top five — showcasing the strong momentum of younger artists reshaping the sound of Pakistan’s music scene.
Dominant Local Albums Lead a Landmark Year
Bayaan’s Safar ranked as the top Pakistani album of 2025, followed by My Terrible Mind and Open Letter from the duo Talha Anjum and Umair, as well as ROCKSTAR WITHOUT A GUITAR by Umair. With hip-hop consumption up 35%, these results reflect Pakistan’s rapidly growing appetite for contemporary genres. Fans also revisited standout albums like Imran Khan’s Unforgettable and Kaavish’s Gunkali, while newly released projects from Hasan Raheem and Maanu captured fresh listener interest.
