QUETTA: The Balochistan cabinet has congratulated Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir on assuming the responsibilities of Chief of Defence Forces (CDF).
The felicitation was extended to the Chief of Defence Forces, General Asim Munir in start of the meeting of Balochistan Cabinet on Friday.
The Cabinet’s meeting was chaired by the Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
At start of the meeting, Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti congratulated Field Marshal General Asim Munir on assuming the responsibilities of Chief of Defence Forces (CDF).
He said that during Indian aggression, General Asim Munir’s wise leadership and defensive strategy greatly enhanced Pakistan’s standing at the global level.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti maintained that the Pakistan Armed Forces possess exceptional capability to deal with all kinds of challenges and the people of Balochistan would always stand shoulder to shoulder with their brave forces.
It may be mentioned here that the Chief Minister had also extended felicitation to General Asim Munir in a felicitation message issued on Thursday late night.
