DADU, December 5, 2025:
The Vice Chancellor of Sukkur IBA University, Prof. Asif Ahmed Sheikh, inaugurated several major projects worth PKR 5 crore at the IBA Dadu Campus, aimed at enhancing educational facilities and practical learning opportunities for students.
The inauguration included a new library, a 200 kW solar power system, and a Foreign Exchange Trade Lab. The ceremony was attended by former Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, IBA Dadu Campus Director Sarfaraz Ahmed Darkhan, Associate Professor Dr. Gulshir Ahmed Lund, Professor of Business Administration Dr. Basharat Hussain, and Administrative Officer Aftab Ahmed Solangi.
Prof. Sheikh noted that the solar system will significantly reduce electricity costs, allowing savings to be reinvested in improving student education. The library houses 32 computers for research and learning, while the Foreign Exchange Trade Lab, connected with the Karachi Stock Exchange, enables students to learn international trading and business management in a practical environment.
The event concluded with awards presented to outstanding students, celebrating their achievements and engagement with the newly inaugurated facilities.
