Under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Riaz Khan Dawood, Assistant Commissioner Sher Shah Ghalzai, the Tehsildar, and teams from the Levies Force conducted a major operation against poppy cultivation in Sanjawi’s Killi Khara Shang.

During the operation, approximately 10 to 15 acres of poppy fields were destroyed. Raids were carried out on huts, and equipment used for cultivation, including cables, wires, water pipes, and solar panel frames, were seized.
The operation delivered a significant blow to poppy cultivation in the area, earning praise from local residents for the decisive action taken by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Riaz Khan Dawood and Assistant Commissioner Sanjawi.
