SUI, DERA BUGTI: The separatist leader of Sui Town, Wadera Noor Ali Chakrani, along with more than 100 of his companions, laid down their arms and joined the national mainstream.
Needless to mention here is Wadera Noor Ali Chakrani surrendered he impressed by the Balochistan government’s firm action against terrorism and Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s development-oriented and people-friendly vision, mentioned in an official statement issued on Friday.
The separatist leader made the announcement regarding his inclusion in the national mainstream on Friday during a historic and dignified ceremony in Sui.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Minister’s brother, Mir Aftab Ahmed Bugti, and attended by elders of the Bugti tribe, notable personalities, youth, and a large number of local residents.
On this occasion, they pledged loyalty to the state of Pakistan and the national flag and expressed their commitment to support the provincial government’s efforts for promoting peace, stability, and national unity in the province.
Addressing the ceremony, Mir Aftab Ahmed Bugti welcomed those who surrendered and urged those still staying in the mountains under influence of the external elements to return and join the national mainstream, and to play a positive role in the development, prosperity, and peaceful future of Dera Bugti and Balochistan.
In his speech, Sui Town Chairman Izzatullah Aman Bugti said that this step is the result of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti’s people-friendly policies and his strong commitment to maintaining peace. He added that this demonstrates that ensuring development, security, and national unity for every citizen is the top priority of the provincial government.
This development is being viewed as a clear outcome of the government’s tough measures against terrorists and its public-friendly policies, proving that with strong leadership, public cooperation, and unwavering determination, lasting peace and development in the province are possible.
