AJK Prime Minister Pays Tribute to Bhutto Family in Sindh

During his visit to Sindh, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, visited Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to pay homage at the mausoleums of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, and Nusrat Bhutto. The Prime Minister laid flowers and recited Fatiha, honoring their exceptional political struggle for the nation.

Senior Pakistan Peoples Party leaders, including Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz, former AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, senior ministers Mian Abdul Wahid, Sardar Javed Ayub, Malik Zafar Iqbal, and Javed Iqbal Budhani accompanied him.

Speaking to the media, PM Rathore said the sacrifices of the Bhutto family represent a shining chapter in Pakistan’s political history. He highlighted Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s contributions, including the creation of a consensual constitution, laying the foundation of the nuclear program, and giving voice to marginalized communities. He praised Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s ultimate sacrifice for the restoration of democracy and described Nusrat Bhutto’s struggle and resilience as a guiding light for every political worker.

PM Rathore emphasized the Bhutto family’s enduring love and principled commitment to Pakistan and Kashmir and reaffirmed his government’s dedication to advancing democratic traditions, public service, and political stability. He added that fulfilling the Pakistan envisioned by the Bhuttos requires national consensus and democratic governance. Describing his visit to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh as a historic and emotional moment, he said paying respects to the martyrs of democracy further strengthened his resolve to serve the public
