Sindhi Culture Day was celebrated with colour and enthusiasm in Sibi, echoing nationwide festivities honouring Sindh’s rich cultural heritage. The day began with a lively rally that set off from the Railway Station’s Gol Bagh, where participants—dressed in traditional Sindhi attire, Ajrak and Sindhi Topi—showcased their pride in centuries-old traditions.

Participants reaffirmed their commitment to preserving Sindhi culture and passing its values to the next generation. Speakers at the event highlighted the enduring significance of cultural identity, inter-provincial harmony and shared heritage in strengthening national unity.

Various political and social organisations arranged special cultural programmes across the city, drawing large participation from children, youth and local residents. The events featured traditional expressions, reflecting the deep community connection with Sindh’s history and traditions.

Sindhi Culture Day, observed annually on the first Sunday of December, is dedicated to celebrating Sindh’s cultural identity, history and customs. Across Pakistan, people wear Sindhi dress, Ajrak and Topi, take part in rallies and join cultural activities in tribute to the province’s vibrant legacy
