Orders Improvements in Immigration Service Delivery
LAHORE: Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Riffat Mukhtar Raja, paid a surprise visit to Lahore Airport and carried out a detailed inspection of the immigration and departure processes at the departure lounge.
The DG directed FIA Immigration to further improve service delivery and instructed that complete transparency and merit be ensured in all off-loading cases. He emphasized fast-tracking measures to facilitate passengers and ensure a smooth immigration experience.
During his interaction with the staff, the DG stressed the need for immediate resolution of passengers’ issues, stating that providing top-quality immigration services is FIA’s foremost priority. He made it clear that no unnecessary delays in the immigration process would be tolerated.
The DG also inspected staff performance, discipline and overall management at the immigration counters. He ordered strict screening to prevent illegal immigration and detect travellers attempting to move with fake or dubious documents.
