The Pashtoon Students Organisation (PSO) has voiced serious concerns regarding the presence of non-academic institutions and security forces within the Agricultural University campus. PSO leaders Waris Afghan, Aimal Sarwan, and others said that the establishment of a Green Bus Service parking area and allocation of academic blocks to security personnel undermine the university’s credibility and academic environment.

They called for the Agricultural University to be granted full university status, the immediate appointment of a permanent Vice Chancellor, and the removal of unrelated institutions, including NEVTTC, from the campus.

The leaders emphasized that strengthening educational institutions requires investment in research, establishment of new departments, and promotion of globally competitive academic standards. PSO vowed to continue its democratic efforts to uphold civilian authority and ensure academic freedom on campus
