Quetta Administration Cracks Down on Price Violations, Encroachments, and Illegal Petrol Pumps

Quetta, Dec 9 — District administration teams conducted large-scale operations in Quetta against price violations, banned plastic bags, encroachments, gas compressors, and illegal mini petrol pumps. Operations in Subdivisions City, Saddar, Kuchlak, and Saryab inspected 120 shops and markets. Authorities arrested 25 individuals, sent 15 to jail, sealed 8 illegal petrol pumps and 7 shops, and confiscated 40 kg of plastic bags and 133 gas compressors. The operations, supervised by Assistant Commissioner Kuchlak Ehsamuddin Kakr and Special Magistrates, also included fines on multiple shopkeepers. The administration urged citizens to assist in identifying violations to ensure a safer and healthier city environment.
