Quetta, December 12, 2025 — The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has announced scheduled power outages across multiple parts of the city from December 13 to 15 due to development and maintenance work. The shutdowns will affect feeders linked to Sariab, Zarghoon, Quetta City, Mariamabad, Sheikh Manda, Dalbandin, Chaghi, Kharan, Shahrag and Harnai grid stations.
Outages will generally occur between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM, while some maintenance operations will extend until 4:00 PM and, in Shahrag and Harnai, up to 5:00 PM.
QESCO stated that the work includes pole installation, line shifting and essential repairs on 11kV feeders. The company apologized for the inconvenience and urged consumers to cooperate during the temporary suspensions.
