Islamabad, 16 December 2025: President Zardari met Ambassador Mariam Madiha Aftab, congratulating her on her appointment as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Ireland. The President highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral trade, investment, climate change initiatives, education, culture, and tourism, while urging efforts to attract Irish investment into Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones and IT sector. He also stressed closer engagement with the Pakistani diaspora and enhanced cultural diplomacy.
