KP CM Suhail Afridi Makes Surprise Visit to Zamong Kor Girls Campus, Women Crisis Center

Peshawar, December 17, 2025: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi paid an unannounced visit to Zamong Kor Girls Campus and the Women Crisis Center, meeting with resident girls, listening to their concerns, and issuing immediate directives for solutions.

Highlighting the government’s commitment, Afridi said, “Caring for children is a constitutional, moral, and humanitarian responsibility of the state.” During the visit, he personally summoned doctors to examine girls suffering from flu.

The Chief Minister instructed that meals be prepared according to the girls’ preferences and that quality nutrition be ensured. He emphasized that the education, training, and welfare of orphaned and destitute girls remain a top priority for the provincial government.

Afridi also ordered the emergency provision of water geysers, heaters, shoes, warm clothes, and sweaters, along with recreational facilities such as swings, toys, a computer lab, painting materials, and other entertainment supplies. He assured an upgradation of the Zamong Kor School and the provision of a new building for the girls’ campus.
