Quetta, December 17, 2025: Leaders of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) criticized past governments for 13 years of mismanagement of the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, which left local bodies dysfunctional, employees unpaid, and public services—particularly sanitation—poorly managed. Addressing election campaigns ahead of the December 28 local polls, PMAP leaders urged citizens to vote for party candidates to revive functional local governance and resolve grassroots issues.
Central General Secretary Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal reaffirmed PMAP’s commitment to democratic principles under Chairman Milli Musharaf Khan Achakzai, emphasizing constitutional protection, fair governance, and equal representation. He warned against attempts to manipulate the electoral process through the use of government resources and called on voters to safeguard their democratic right.
The party stressed that empowering local institutions is essential to addressing city-level problems efficiently, ensuring transparency in service delivery, and restoring public trust in municipal administration.
