Lahore, December 18, 2025: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated Pakistan’s armed forces and the entire nation on the successful launch of the Hangu Class Ghazi Submarine, terming it a significant achievement for national defense.
In her message, Maryam Nawaz praised the Pakistan Navy for its professionalism and dedication to safeguarding the country’s maritime frontiers. She also appreciated the Pak-China collaboration in the development of the submarine, calling it a reflection of strong strategic ties and mutual trust between the two countries.
The chief minister paid tribute to the services and sacrifices of naval personnel, stating that the nation takes pride in its armed forces for ensuring Pakistan’s security and sovereignty.
