Washington, December 17, 2025:

President Donald Trump, in a prime-time national address, declared that the United States has regained strength and global standing, asserting that “America is back” after what he described as years of economic and political uncertainty. The speech highlighted his administration’s achievements and set out priorities for the coming year.

A central announcement was a $1,776 “Warrior Dividend” bonus for more than 1.4 million U.S. service members. Trump said the bonus, symbolically linked to the nation’s founding year, was intended to honor the sacrifices of the armed forces and reinforce national pride.

On immigration, the president reaffirmed a hardline approach, claiming his administration had restored law and order at the southern border through stricter enforcement, expanded deportations, and renewed border wall construction. He emphasized that future immigration would be legal and merit-based, with national security as the priority.

Addressing the economy, Trump defended tariffs and tax policies, arguing they had revived domestic manufacturing, eased inflationary pressures, and strengthened employment. He pledged further tax relief and housing reforms aimed at working- and middle-class Americans.

On foreign policy, Trump said the United States had reasserted global influence through “peace through strength,” vowing strong alliances, military readiness, and diplomacy focused on protecting American interests while avoiding prolonged conflicts
