Quetta, December 19, 2025:

Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP) leaders have called on the Pashtun community to unite under the party’s platform to address longstanding political and civic challenges. Addressing public gatherings in Tareen Shor and Kuchlagh, Central Information Secretary Muhammad Issa Roshan, Central Finance Secretary Yousaf Khan Kakar and Provincial President Nasrullah Khan Zere said PkNAP truly represents the aspirations of the Pashtun Afghan nation.

They urged voters to support party candidates in the ongoing local government elections by voting for the party’s symbol, the grape bunch. Several party leaders also addressed the gatherings.

During the events, 44 individuals along with their families announced joining PkNAP. Speakers criticized successive governments for denying local bodies meaningful authority and resources, calling it a violation of grassroots democratic rights. They expressed confidence that Quetta voters would back PkNAP candidates to strengthen the struggle for effective local governance.
