BISP Celebrates Christmas and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s Birthday with Christian Beneficiaries

Islamabad, 23 December 2025: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) organized a grand ceremony at its headquarters to celebrate Christmas and the birthday of Pakistan’s Founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The event was attended by BISP employees from the Christian community, beneficiary mothers and families, media representatives, and BISP officials.
Addressing the occasion, Chairperson BISP, Senator Rubina Khalid, emphasized the urgent need to implement Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of an independent, strong, and prosperous Pakistan. She highlighted that Pakistan’s development requires collective thinking, unity, and harmony across all segments of society. Senator Khalid urged BISP staff to serve with honesty and dedication, stating that true success in the hereafter lies in serving humanity. The Chairperson underlined BISP’s role in promoting social justice and supporting marginalized communities, ensuring they are integrated into the national mainstream. She described December 25 as a day of joy for all Pakistanis, reflecting religious tolerance and harmony in society.
Senator Khalid also celebrated Christmas with Christian beneficiary families, distributing gifts to children and cutting the ceremonial cake. She prayed that 2026 would be a year of peace, love, brotherhood, and tolerance, calling for the eradication of hatred and promoting unity as the true spirit of Pakistan.
The event highlighted BISP’s ongoing commitment to social welfare and national cohesion while honoring the legacy of Quaid-e-Azam.
