Quetta: Former Corps Commander Balochistan, General (Retd) Nasser Janjua, visited the residence of Provincial Education Minister Rahila Hamid Khan Durrani to express heartfelt condolences over the passing of her mother.
During the visit, General (R) Janjua offered Fateha for the departed soul and prayed for her forgiveness and eternal peace. He also extended prayers for patience and strength for the bereaved family, stating that he stood with them in this hour of grief.
Provincial Education Minister Rahila Hamid Khan Durrani thanked General (R) Nasser Janjua for his visit and for sharing the family’s sorrow.
CM Balochistan Felicitates Newly Elected Karachi Press Club Office-Bearers
Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of the Karachi Press Club and extended his best wishes to them.
In a statement, the Chief Minister congratulated President Karachi Press Club Fazil Jameeli, Vice President Irshad Khokhar, Secretary Muhammad Aslam Khan, and other elected officials. He said that free, responsible, and dignified journalism forms the foundation of a strong democratic society.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that journalists play a vital role in guiding society through fact-based reporting, adding that protecting journalism is, in fact, protecting the public’s right to information.
He reaffirmed that the Balochistan government would continue full cooperation for the welfare and resolution of issues faced by the journalist community and expressed hope that the newly elected leadership would uphold the trust of journalists and further enhance the prestige of the Karachi Press Club.
