kalat: Kalat police, in collaboration with the CIA, launched a major crackdown on narcotics trafficking, arresting multiple drug dealers and habitual users. Police also recovered a significant quantity of illicit drugs, including hashish and liquor. SP Kalat Syed Zahid Hussain Shah emphasized that authorities are determined to eradicate the drug menace from the city, protecting youth from addiction and criminal influence. Several addicts were taken into custody and transported to Quetta for professional rehabilitation and treatment. The operation reflects ongoing efforts to dismantle narcotics networks and safeguard communities from social decay. Police officials praised citizen cooperation and stressed the importance of public awareness in combating drug abuse. The authorities also highlighted that previous operations in the week yielded similar successes, reinforcing their commitment to eliminating narcotics from Qalat. Officials urged citizens to report suspicious activities and assured that law enforcement will maintain vigilance until the city is free of drug-related crimes, offering safety and a healthier environment for residents.
