Nasirabad: Senior JUI leader and National Assembly ticket-holder Mir Nizamuddin Leghari has expressed grave concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Nasirabad, claiming daily motorcycle snatching incidents have become routine across the district.
Speaking to media in Chhattar, Leghari said the SSP Nasirabad has failed to maintain peace, leaving citizens insecure in both urban and rural areas. He stated that three to four motorcycle robberies are reported daily, while open street crime continues unchecked. According to him, the situation has worsened to the extent that affected citizens were forced to stage protests by holding the Holy Quran to demand recovery of their looted belongings.
Leghari criticized the district administration for remaining a silent spectator and accused the police leadership of poor strategy and lack of seriousness, which has emboldened criminal elements. He urged higher authorities to take immediate notice, review the SSP’s performance, and implement urgent measures to restore law and order and rebuild public trust in law enforcement agencies
